PedAlign Announces New EasyFit Orthotic

Designed to Fit Everyday Footwear and Light Sport Shoes

May, 2007

The new generation PedAlign EasyFit orthotic featuring  a new, highly effective design is now available for patients who need relief from foot ailments and still want to wear everyday footwear and light sport shoes that lack room for additional padding or larger heel cup orthotics.

The EasyFit orthotic can be ordered by podiatrist’s prescription through the wave-of-the-future PedAlign digital casting solution. Based on space-age digital imaging technology developed by NASA and the Artificial Intelligence Lab at MIT, PedAlign – the only solution of its kind available in the podiatric market today – pleases patients and makes podiatrists more productive.

The new EasyFit orthotic is made with a semi-rigid Polypropylene shell and heel punch, resulting in a very low profile.  The standard device comes with a contoured help cup and a full length 1/16” poron cover and vinyl.

The EasyFit orthotic reflects PedAlign’s commitment to constant product upgrades to meet the needs of podiatrists and their patients who desire to wear a variety of fashionable and activity-oriented shoe styles with orthotics that provide relief from foot ailments.

It represents the next generation of orthotic design and delivers significantly improved benefits compared to the Sport Compact orthotic, which it replaces.
